I am about halfway through school, and in the beginning of the year it wasn’t so hard to cope with. But now the work is getting more intense, and I tend to lose my home work and forget to turn it in. I find assignments from a couple days ago that I forgot to turn in. What are some ways that I can keep organized and remember to turn in my work ?
Thanks.
I use a planner. Every day has space to write, and a week goes across two pages. You can find these at any bookstore. I also color-code for each class, and when assignments are due (if more than a day later) or when I have a test/quiz, I write those in the color for that class on the day when it happens. Whenever I get a new assignment, I write that assignment down on the day that I get it, and write down (on the day that it is due) that the assignment is due. If it is a project, I write down which component I will complete on the days I intend to complete it. I also use my planner to remind me of to-do lists and any out-of-the-ordinary things that are occurring which I need to remember.
I am a little anal about lists and colors, so you don’t have to take it as far as I have, but in general, I have found that a planner is a good way to make sure that I don’t forget anything. I look at it every day, so I am always aware of what assignments I have to complete as well as when each one is due. It has helped me to manage my time much better than when I didn’t use one.

You can use post-its and stick them in random places to remind yourself (like your locker or in a notebook or even on a mirror in your bedroom). I have a whiteboard calendar that I can attach things to with magnets and that helps me remember things before I leave home.

Designate specific folders just for homework for all of your classes. Also buy an agenda; at my school they are provided for us and they can really help you stay organized as long as you use it consistently.
Hope this helps! :-]
