How to organize a charity event to give stuffed animals to terminally ill children?

I want to organize an event to raise money to give stuffed animals to terminally ill children in hospitals, like St. Jude’s for example. It would be very helpful if someone could let me know how to go about doing this. Thanks!

Do it through an already established organization that helps terminally ill children. Contact such organization and they should be able to help you gain support and spread the word. They can also help you organize your event and locate the children you will benefit.
